Midlands Psychology

Dragonfly spent a few months in the summer of 2011 with Midlands Psychology. Our aim was to make a promotional video about this new and exciting service.

Here is an animation which formed just a small part of that promotional video project.

We wanted this animation to be very special, and so extra care was taken to produce something different. Something memorable! What resulted was one of the best promotional videos we have made. This bussiness promotional video has been used on the cleints website, they also screened the promo video at conferences.

ACLAS

We were recently asked to produce this corporate promotional video for ACLAS, who are an aviation support company. They help airlines ensure that aircraft are fit to fly, a little like what The AA do for drivers.

The promotional video is the story of how aclas react when they are call upon.

We were asked to do something very special with this promo video, so we did. We only had two days to shoot and a week to turn the entire project around. Despite the time restrictions, we were still able to produce something stunning.

We decided to not include a voiceover, as the video promo will be used at trade fairs. We also graded the promotional video in black and white to amplify the cinematic footage.

Northampton Council

We were recently asked by Northampton Council to produce a very important promotional video. The video was commissioned by the 'Building Schools for the Future' initiative. Our promo video aimed to inform primary school children about their move to secondary school.

The business promotional video was 20minutes long when finished and looked at all of the nine schools in Northampton. We involved the local school children in the creative process when producing this video promo. We believe that without the creative input from the children, the promotional video would not have been as effective. This was the first time children had ever been consulted in this way and included in such an important role.

7City

This coporate promotional video was commissioned by the educational establishment 7city.

For this coporate promo video we were asked to film interviews in a creative and dynamic way, then to edit them together as creativley as possible. The result is a promo video which looks very rich and is which carries its information very well.

With all promotional vidoes we produce, we are always looking at ways to improve production values. With this promotional video, our team used production processes normally reserved for feature films. The finished video promo looks great and has impressed everyone who has watched it.

The high quality of this promotional video is something that reflects very well on our client.

Angels

This corporate promo video was produced for a new night club in London called Angels. The short promotional video was used as a teaser commercial to generate interest in the new club.

The management of Angels asked our promotional video company to model an angel figure in 3D and to then animate it for them. This was a challenge, as the human body is not an easy object to replicate digitally. It was especially challenging to give the angel a gold finish. We wanted the angel character to look beautiful and graceful, yet powerful. The finished video is one of our best promotional videos in its catagory. 

We believe we got that balance just right!
